Hark!
Alright, enough with all these Passenger posts! Time for something else for a change.
Here’s my winning entry from an EWQLSO Christmas competition back in 2004. Based on an old carol, it served as an arrangement/orchestration exercise while I was gearing up to do The Passenger score.
…I said enough with The Passenger already!! Anyway, thought I might as well dust it off and give it another spin. ‘Tis the season after all.

I’m impressed on how well your composing talents are, for your movie, the passenger as well as this competition. I very rarely stumble across people who do both animation and music together very well, and out of these people, you excel out of the bunch. You’ve inspired me to step in similar strides.

Amazing!
Are those real instruments or synthesized?

And if they are synthesized, what program did you use?
Absolutely fantastic! I was very impressed to find out that you did the music to Passenger.

Hey! In totally non-the-passenger-related news….
…my dvd of the passenger arrived today! It is GLORIOUS! thank you, good sir!
also this is a lovely take on the carol of the bells. its odd to hear it without voices chanting in it. but i think i prefer this more ‘epic orchestra’ version.

Hi there Chris! The video was fantastic! Well done.
I wrote the “Silent Night” entry for the Gold level (which also won) of the EWQLSO competition (fellow Aussie here). It was fun to hear your entry again.
Have a great end to the year.
