Siggraph Asia 2008

Siggraph AsiaThe Passenger is showing at the new Asian incarnation of Siggraph this year, thereby achieving one of its original goals (well, sort of).  It’s in Singapore on the 11th of December, and you need a conference pass to see it by the looks of it (expensive!).  Took me a while to find the details for this one, so there’s not much time left.

    Hey there,

    I’m just coming back from Siggraph where I saw your film this morning. Seriously after finding your website I’ve had a hard time believing you did all this by yourself!

    It is an outstanding piece with such a great narrative and excellent renders it wouldn’t have looked out of place in a collection of Pixar short.

    I don’t know what else to say, except WOW!

    The bulk of the DVD is done, still lots of little fidgety bits left to do though. Just a matter of months now (instead of years).

    I was going to say “sometime this year”, but thought I’d be a bit more specific. ;) I’ll try and finish it before your kids lose interest…

    Bingo! Colour correction, bug testing, logistical stuff. It will probably still be months, but very few of them. Weeks even!
