Such execution. Bravo!
Thanks for pointing me to this. It's unfortunate that someone has decided to do that, as not only does it spoil the viewing experience for a much larger audience, it will most likely reduce my chances of being credited for it or to profit from it, which means I can't spend as much time making more of them.
He put your credits there
I know, but if it's copied from there and distributed, there's no way of knowing where it came from.
Chris, great work.Don't worry if someone is distributing your work, i have come across your video on one Croatian site, and I have come here to see more.Good luck in future.
I came across your site from Imgur, your watermark is still intact :)
Actually, the watermark on the link above isn't legible.
great work . what rendering system did you use?
Just Lightwave's built in renderer.
Well done, the SSS looks nearly flawless! What was your render time? I'd really like to see your rigging and shading setup.
Roughly 800 hours I think.
Thanks for sharing with us. I have seen your work before. This is really getting there. A few questions/comments: The (peach fuzz) hair around the eye, at the start, seem to glisten/gleen too much. Draws focus away a bit. The ears do not twitch/move when facial muscles are used. What did you use as the subject of the eye? Veining is very realistic. With some of the physics you have played with before, a full body running would be almost impossible to tell it is not animated. Thank you for sharing with us, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future.
The peach fuzz has technical issues I haven't been able to get to the bottom of. Ears usually only move when you smile or squint, or move them independently (well that's the case with me, anyway). :) I referenced myself and various photos for the eye.
WOW! I've never seen a character animation like this....please realise that this is quite revolutionary! Wait for the big movie companies....
That is spectacular. I would love to see this in 4K, if you're able to render it out in that resolution without it taking years.
Well, not years, but 800 hours x 4 = about 4 1/2 months of rendering... If it could be made to render on a network, much less of course.
Your work is positively amazing! Whatever technology you're using must be the future of movies, video games, and so much more. Kudos on your fantastic technological voyage!
Absolutely amazing - thank you for sharing with everyone. Keep up the great work!
The Song Name? Where can i download this?
It has no name and isn't downloadable at the moment, but there's been a lot of interest in it so I'm considering this possibility.
Being a fellow Lightwaver and seeing The Passenger back in the day, I've followed your work through the years and it's simply astounding to see what your doing these days. My mind was blown.
Hollywood has to learn a lot from you!
The holy grail of digital animation and simulate human face to perfection. Congratulations you got there!
I came hère next from an article on the french version of thé huffingtonpost. Amazing work Guy. Really.
I keep following your work, and you never cease to amaze me with your talent. I wish for you all the success that you most certainly deserve.
Nice. Bloody nice.
Beautiful! What method(s) did you use for the eye movements? Did you do any eye tracking? Thanks, A curious uni student
It's just keyframed, very loosely referencing some video of myself.
Is ALL keyframed? No mo-cap at all?
1: Yes. 2: No.
Why would I have nightmares?
In other news, Mr Hand has been spotted lurking about in this Cyclone Yasi news report from a few years ago. There's no knowing where that devious fellow will turn up next...Thanks to Peter N for the tip off. :)
So wonderful work! C.o.n.g.r.a.t.s!
Wow! This is phenomenal work! This reminds me of stuff I saw when visiting the USC ICT's graphics lab earlier this year. Here is a video overview of theirs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK0DpAAaF9QThe quality of your work reminds me of their "Digital Ira" project, which is a joint project they've done with Activision. I hope you're getting the level of recognition you deserve!
he really looks like this guy:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2541974/?ref_=tt_cl_t6
What is the big next step now? build a body?

Because you do not have a store selling avatars in SecondLife and HighFidelity? I would buy an avatar in your store...
amazing work Mr.Chris Jones.
My friend shared this with me because he knows I'm into learning how to make 3D stuff.. but this is more convincing than any other human model I've seen yet! :-)
I have loved cgi since I first saw it, back in the early 80's (ever seen ReBoot? Love that programme). But even in films like Tron Legacy and some of the Japanese game movies, it's always the eyes and the hands that give it away, Uncanny Valley and all that. But this was so brilliant, I wasn't sure if it was really cg or film of a real person made to look like cg. Most excellent work.
Wow, this is beautiful, I can see again and again...it is so fantastic!! Amazing, master art.
That looks like Professor Tacari Mac's work. Man that is great! You guys did a superb job! Did you by any chance study under Professor Tye Mac?
No, I hadn't heard of him until now.
How are you doing? I am a student studying CG in Japan. I was so impressed your wonderful work. My first time to watch your movie on You Tube, the impact from your movie made me cry. Never have I had such experience. I would like to work Pixer in the future. You may laugh? But my dream has been stronger and stronger since watched your movie. I try to do my best dreaming to work with you, thank you for giving me a dream and hope. I will always be your fan.
Well, I don't think I've made anyone cry with my work before... they were happy tears I hope! ;) And setting high goals is nothing to be laughed at. Always aim for the top I say. The least that can happen is you'll end up in a higher place than you otherwise would. Thanks for the nice comments!
Amazing work, it looks so real. Please join to Cloud Imperium Games the company works on a game with the name "Star Citizen".They need character artists like you.https://cloudimperiumgames.com/jobsI'm a backer of this game. ;)You are incredible talented man.
This work was not continued ?
Not discontinued, just sidelined for a while.

I want to see more so much! I can't wait forever! Great job! This is incredible!
